2024 PFD Filing Season
The 2024 PFD Online application will be available on the PFD website starting at 9:00 AM Monday, January 1, 2024, through 11:59 PM Sunday, March 31, 2024. Paper applications will be available at PFD offices and at hundreds of distribution sites throughout the state (see link below the online application). The easiest way to file is with the online application, you’ll get a confirmation number when you submit the application.
REMINDERS:
- Applications filed online, with a direct deposit payment method, and determined Eligible, your payment disbursement will be part of the first mass payment at the beginning of October.
- Applications filed online, with a check payment method, and determined Eligible, OR if you file a paper application and are determined Eligible, your payment disbursement will be part of the second mass payment at the end of October.
- File your online application with your myAlaska username. Access to myPFD with the myAlaska username used to file your application will display more details of your application and provide the options to electronically sign, update your address, and direct deposit as well as access to your 1099 tax document.
- Missing or incomplete answers will result in a review of your application.
Reminder
- If you are unable to login to your myAlaska Electronic Signature account, you can still apply online by selecting the printed signature page option.
- The confirmation number you receive when completing an online application serves as proof of a successful filing. Be sure to keep a record of this number!
- Paper applications can be found at a Distribution Center near you.
CHECK YOUR APPLICATION STATUS
- Check your Application Status by selecting "myPFD".
- Make sure your address is current on your application. If you electronically signed your PFD application, you can sign into "myPFD" and update your address online OR you can complete the Address Change Form, and submit it to one of our offices.
2023 DIVIDEND AMOUNT
The 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend amount is $1,312. Tax information can be found on our Payments menu.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- 2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on March 13, 2024, will be distributed on March 21, 2024.
- 2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on April 10, 2024, will be distributed on April 18, 2024.
- 2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on May 8, 2024, will be distributed on May 16, 2024.
myAlaska Information
The myAlaska system is used as a Secure Single Sign-on and Signature for Alaskans. This operates as an authentication and electronic signature system which allows Alaskans to interact with multiple State of Alaska agencies through a single log-in. The PFD Division partners with but is a separate entity from myAlaska.
*MYALASKA WARNING! There are reports that some myAlaska users are receiving phishing text messages requesting users change or update their passwords. Do not respond to these messages. myAlaska DOES NOT send text messages or emails to users requesting that they change their passwords.
