PFD Offices temporarily unavailable

August 22, 2024 - The PFD Division will be temporarily unavailable for public interactions between September 2nd - September 6th to focus on undetermined applications.  You may continue to mail, email, or fax in any requested documents to the division during this modified availability.

Starting September 9, 2024, the PFD Division will resume being OPEN Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and CLOSED to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Thank you for your patience.  Contact the Permanent Fund Dividend

Updates Due by August 31, 2024

August 6, 2024 - Has your banking information or address changed since you filed your PFD?
To update your banking information or address:

  • Update your information online using myPFD with the same myAlaska username used to file your application.    OR
  • Download the appropriate form the Forms menu above and submit it to the division by August 31, 2024.

Alaska 529 has transitioned to a new online and mobile experience. If you answered “Yes” to investing half of your 2024 PFD, please refer to the letter sent to you by the program in July. More information about investing your PFD can be found at Alaska529plan.com/PFD

CHECK YOUR APPLICATION STATUS

  • Check your Application Status by selecting "myPFD".
  • Make sure your address is current on your application. If you electronically signed your PFD application, you can sign into "myPFD" and update your address online OR you can complete the Address Change Form, and submit it to one of our offices.

2023 DIVIDEND AMOUNT

The 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend amount was $1,312.  Tax information can be found on our Payments menu.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

    • 2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on August 7, 2024, will be distributed on August 15, 2024.  
    • 2023 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on September 4, 2024, will be distributed on September 12, 2024.

    The division will start distribution of the 2024 PFD applications in two disbursements.  The FIRST disbursement WILL BE issued on October 3, 2024, for ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WHO FILED ONLINE AND CHOSE DIRECT DEPOSIT AS THEIR PAYMENT.  The SECOND disbursement will be issued on October 24, 2024, for ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WHO FILED BY PAPER OR CHOSE PAPER CHECK AS THEIR PAYMENT. Monthly disbursements will continue as applications are put into an eligible for payment status.

    • 2024 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on September 20, 2024, will be distributed on October 3, 2024   
    • 2024 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on October 14, 2024, will be distributed on October 24, 2024.    

    myAlaska Information

    The myAlaska system is used as a Secure Single Sign-on and Signature for Alaskans. This operates as an authentication and electronic signature system which allows Alaskans to interact with multiple State of Alaska agencies through a single log-in. The PFD Division partners with but is a separate entity from myAlaska.

    *MYALASKA WARNING! There are reports that some myAlaska users are receiving phishing text messages requesting users change or update their passwords. Do not respond to these messages. myAlaska DOES NOT send text messages or emails to users requesting that they change their passwords.
