October 1, 2024 - The PFD phone queue is experiencing a high volume of calls during this payment season. If you are unable to get into the queue, please try back later. Our queue is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM. We appreciate everyone's patience as we are trying to assist.
- The first disbursement for 2024 PFD applications that were filed online and requested direct deposit that were in an Eligible status as of 9/20/2024 by 4:30 PM, will be distributed on 10/3/2024.
- All applications that were put into an Eligible status after 9/20/2024 4:30 PM through 10/14/2024 will be distributed on 10/24/2024.
- If your banking information has changed, please submit a Payment Method form to update your banking information prior to the next payment distribution.
- If your mailing address has changed, please submit an Address Change form to update your address prior to the next payment distribution.
- The Payment Schedule down below on this website will show when the division will be distributing dividends every month as application become eligible.

September 19, 2024 - The 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend amount is $1,702.
PFD Update
Alaska 529 has transitioned to a new online and mobile experience. If you answered “Yes” to investing half of your 2024 PFD, please refer to the letter sent to you by the program in July. More information about investing your PFD can be found at Alaska529plan.com/PFD.
CHECK YOUR APPLICATION STATUS
- Check your Application Status by selecting "myPFD".
- Make sure your address is current on your application. If you electronically signed your PFD application, you can sign into "myPFD" and update your address online OR you can complete the Address Change Form, and submit it to one of our offices.
2023 DIVIDEND AMOUNT
The 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend amount was $1,312. Tax information can be found on our Payments menu.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The division will start distribution of the 2024 PFD applications eligible for payment in two disbursements. The FIRST disbursement WILL BE issued on October 3, 2024, for ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WHO FILED ONLINE AND CHOSE DIRECT DEPOSIT AS THEIR PAYMENT. The SECOND disbursement will be issued on October 24, 2024, for ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WHO FILED BY PAPER OR CHOSE PAPER CHECK AS THEIR PAYMENT. Monthly disbursements will continue as applications are put into an eligible for payment status.
- 2024 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on September 20, 2024, will be distributed on October 3, 2024.
- 2024 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on October 14, 2024, will be distributed on October 24, 2024.
- 2024 (and prior year) dividend applications that are in "Eligible-Not Paid" status on November 13, 2024, will be distributed on November 21, 2024.
myAlaska Information
The myAlaska system is used as a Secure Single Sign-on and Signature for Alaskans. This operates as an authentication and electronic signature system which allows Alaskans to interact with multiple State of Alaska agencies through a single log-in. The PFD Division partners with but is a separate entity from myAlaska.
*MYALASKA WARNING! There are reports that some myAlaska users are receiving phishing text messages requesting users change or update their passwords. Do not respond to these messages. myAlaska DOES NOT send text messages or emails to users requesting that they change their passwords.
