*Documents where an original is required such as birth certificate, passport, or certificate of naturalization will not be accepted through fax or email. To ensure a quick return of these documents, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

The division will not accept discs or thumb drives that contain documentation due to the possibility of a virus or other threat.  The division will send the device back to the applicant unprocessed.

PFD Fraud

If your PFD application has been referred to the Criminal Investigations Unit, keep your contact information current. Once PFD receives the results of the investigation, we will review your eligibility and contact you to request additional information or advise you of your eligibility status.

The PFD Division may release information that is confidential to a local, state, or federal government agency per AS 43.23.017(1). Governmental agency representatives that would like information about accessing the PFD database can contact PFD at pfdmoa@alaska.gov.
